Glam.com’s Top Ten Lip Balms Under $10
I love lip gloss. It’s the perfect touch to a natural look. I wear lip gloss when I do laundry, I put it on before bed. I’ve even been known to apply lip gloss before I get into the shower. I love it sooo much. I haven’t found a “boyfriend” friendly lip gloss as of yet. I get the constant complaining about how its to sticky, or tastes sweet or whatever, but I was on one of my most Favorite websites www.glam.com and they released their list of top ten lip balms under $10. Fortunately, I have all ten of these lip balms and can give a solid and truthful review of them all. Below are the top ten lip balms (in no particular order), prices and the online stores where you can purchase them.
1.) Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine / Breath Freshener $7.50 at bigelowchemists.com
I love Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine. The mint gives your lips an extra kick its almost like an alarm clock for your mouth and feels cool and smooth on your lips. I love to apply this in the morning, plus if you lick your lips it freshens your breath as well :-). You can also find this balm at your local Bath & Body Works store.
2.) Bliss Superbalm Lip Conditioner, SPF 15 $10 at beauty.com
I apply Bliss in the summer. I am a Beach Bum and water baby by nature and on any given day in the summer I’ll sit on the Beach in Atlantic City or Sea Side all day and my lips and my skin take a beating, but Bliss really protects my lips from sunburn (Yes! lips get sun burn too) and chaffing because of the SPF 15 infused in the balm. Plus its loaded with moisture glide which makes for less applications and it has mango and cocoa butters in it as well, so it smells really good.

Lip Butters serve the same purpose as body butters. Its a nice second coat on top of your lips which makes it an intensive moisturizer which prevents dryness and chap lips. I apply this often and I always have a tub in the bottom of my “every day” hand bag.

I LOVE ROSES! Rosebud lip balm is considered to be the elite of lip balms under $10. Considered spa treatment for the lips….and I’d have to agree.
5.) Bare Escentuals Buzz Latte Lip Balm $8 at sephora.com
I’m usually not a fan of anything coffee flavored, but Buzz Latte is the exception. This balm also gives your lips a rush and a kick of excitement and I usually apply this before I go out on the town with friends or in the dance club. It has 17% shea butter and green coffee extract. You can never be disappointed with natural products.

Kiss Me…Please Kiss Me. I love this lip balm. Everytime I apply it I look for my boyfriend so I can plant one on him. It makes your lips so soft and smooth and once you apply it your lips feel so good you want to kiss someone so they can feel how good your lips feel too. Kiss Me is such an appropriate name for this balm. It protects and soothes with vitamin E and also helps repair damaged chapped lips.
7.) Sephora SuperStars - Super Shield Lip Saver SPF 15 $5 at sephora.com
What can I say about Sephora? They always have something I MUST HAVE. Sephora Super Shield is much like Bliss where it protects your lips from the sun winter or summer. Its a great switch up between Bliss and Super Shield. This balm is a must have.
8.) Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer SPF 15 $3.29 at drugstore.com
Like all Neutrogena products this balm does exactly what it says. It repairs damaged lips, it protects from the sun, it prevents chaffing and its much better than regular chapstick. Its very simple and very light and can be applied whenever.
9.) H2O+ Lip Mender $10 at h2oplus.com
This is a SERIOUS lip quencher. Have you ever been working out and about 10 minutes into it you need some water but don’t have any around, so instead you opt to continue working out for an hour and drink the water fountain afterwards. Your body feels quenched, refreshed and rejuvenated. That’s what H2O does to your lips. It reduces fine lines and prevents chaffing. Your lips haven’t felt a good lip balm until you’ve had H2O.
10.) Kiehl’s Since 1851 Lip Balm #1 Tube $5.50 at saks.com
The perfect winter lip balm. This balm protects your lips from the drying effects of wind and cold weather. It repairs and protects damage chapped or cracked lips. If you haven’t applied lip balm in a while I would recommend starting with Kiehl’s Lip Balm to recharge and nurse your lips back to health.
You should check out each of these balms and purchase one, more or all of them. They are all worth the money and very affordable. Your lips will thank you.
